Meet the Makers

The women of Basha are living examples of transformation. Each woman who was once vulnerable to exploitation is now secure. She is working in a safe and caring work environment, paid a livable wage and has had a savings program established.  Each one is given life skills training and specific training for her role in the Basha enterprise, according to her abilities and dreams. So she takes great pride in her work, and if you have the delight of owning one of the blankets she has hand-stitched you will find her signature is in the corner of the blanket.
